This is a Non-government, Co-educational Primary Teachers Training Institute- established in 2003 vide memo No. 465/BPE/2003 dated 22.05.2003. The institute is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, Kolkata. Next time as per the guideline of NCTE rules and recognition we reopened D.El.Ed Course with an annual intake capacity of 50 from the academic session 2013-2015. the institute is located a Baghmundi block under Purulia near Turga Dam surrounded with a scenic beauty in the lap of Ayodhya Hills/ Hydraulic project named " Purulia Pump Storage Project". The tarining center is far away from the locality to a conducive study environment. Total campus area is 2635 sqm, total build up area is 16,630 sqft & hostel accomodation area is 4500 sqft. Total no. of rooms are 19 with proper sanitization, water supply and electric facility.

Dear Student,

The SNPTTI, Department of Teacher Education was established in the year 2003, with an objective to provide a sound platform to the student in the field of teacher education. At present, the department offers D-El-Ed Course. Apart from teaching other activities like seminar, workshop, cultural activities, co-curricular activities are offered. The department is enriched with text book, reference book, labs, internet facilities among with other resources. The institute offers an all round, like mental, physical, cultural, social, moral & spiritual development.

The Govt. of W.B. has issued N.O.C. to the institute for imparting De-El-Ed course and the NCTE, Bhubaneswar has asserted Recognition No.- ERC/7149.6.3/NCTE/D-El-Ed/2013/216110 from the second 2012-14 onwards. D-El-Ed courseis affiliated to the W.B.B.P.E. Kolkata.
